Place Value to the Thousands

Fourth graders work on their place value and number sense skills as they solve 15 practice problems in this math worksheet. Students will practice writing numbers in standard form and finding the value of the underlined digit in a variety of multi-digit numbers. One final question invites them to identify the digit with the greatest value in a four-digit number and explain their reasoning.
