Squeeze balls—or stress balls—can be a great tool to use when faced with a strong emotion. This social emotional learning worksheet guides young learners to create their own feelings-themed stress ball balloons to help them to feel more calm. Children will fill a balloon with play dough and draw an emotions face of their choice on their balloon. Then they will draw a picture of a time when they might use their new stress ball. This is a great activity to help kindergarteners and first graders learn and practice mindfulness of emotions.
