If you're stuck at home this summer, try these fun pretend postcards instead for an exercise in creative writing! Look at the wacky scene on the front of the card, colour it in, then put yourself in the shoes (or fins) of the characters on the front. If you were in that situation, what would you have to say to friends and family back home? Write it on the back of the postcard.
