The Moon: A Natural Satellite
The moon is a natural satellite that orbits the Earth. In this Earth and space science worksheet, children learn that the moon reflects different amounts of light as it makes its orbit, and these differences are called phases. After learning the name of each phase, students look at drawings of the moon to practise identifying and labeling them. This worksheet, designed for a year four science curriculum, integrates well into a unit on space or the solar system.
