Once students have understood just how long a foot is, it’s time to dive deeper and explore what makes up a foot. Measuring inches takes more patience, but students will love learning the exact length of some of their favorite objects – be prepared to begin answering decimals and fractions questions, though, because once a student understands the concept of inches, they will want to know what’s even smaller.
