Fourth Grade Holidays Activities: The Ten Plagues

What You Need:

  • Colored pencils
  • White drawing paper

What You Do:

  1. Discuss the nature of the Ten Plagues with your child. 
  2. Ask if he can list the plagues and if he understands what each one means.
  3. Have him draw a visual representation of each plague on the sheet of paper using colored pencils to draw details.
  4. A list of plagues to represent are:

Plague of water turning to blood

Plague of frogs

Plague of gnats, or lice

Plague of flies

Plague against livestock

Plague of boils

Plague of hail

Plague of locusts

Plague of darkness

Plague of the death of the firstborn


Encourage him to bring his finished drawing to the Seder table to share with others participating in the ritual.
