Get Loopy! Make a 100th Day Necklace
Especially in year one and year two, you've probably noticed that the number "100" is a star feature of the maths curriculum. By the end of year one your child should be able to recite all numbers from 1-100; and by the end of year two, you should see some impressive travels up and down the number line as young mathematicians grasp number relationships, addition and early subtraction.
That means, of course, that the 100th Day of School is usually a big, happy learning fest in year one and year two classrooms! Here's a cute, fun way to support that learning at home, especially if there's a friend or bored sibling hanging around, too.
