What You Need:

  • One copy of paragraph and recipe below
  • Pencil
  • Ice cream
  • Spoon

What You Do:

  1. Print out the incorrect paragraph below.
  2. First, have your child try to read the incorrect paragraph.
  3. With a pencil, have your child correct the paragraph.
  4. Remind them that even though a space is not a mark, it is considered punctuation.
  5. Have your child use the correct paragraph to check their work.
  6. Serve ice cream with your child!
